Get to Know Us!

Carol Carol is the owner of Positive Pooches. She's worked in several dog daycares around the Portland area and Oregon coast. Carol has a degree in Psychology from Southern Oregon University. After graduating she got a job as a daycare attendant at a busy dog daycare. She shadowed the dog trainer at the time, but left to assist in the start up a dog daycare on the Oregon Coast. While on the coast, she started up the only positive reinforcement training program within 2 hours. Once the daycare was up and running, Carol knew it was time to seek her own daycare. When an opportunity came up to purchase Primo, she jumped at the chance. Carol is owned by Ein — Corgi/Pomeranian, and Ed — her crazy cat. When not working, Carol is reading about dog behavior or partaking in seminars such as Clicker Expo or APDT Expo.

Jeff Jeff is our afternoon guy. He's been with Primo for 3 years and knows each and every one of the dog's unique personalities! Jeff is owned by two dogs, Millie — Greater Swiss Mountain Dog, and Bruizer — Chihuahua. They enjoy spending time on Vashon Island. Jeff enjoys riding his bike and relaxing with good friends.

Matt Matt is Carol's husband. You'll often see him around the building working on projects or filling in extra hours. Matt is also owned by Ein and Ed. He is an avid gamer and enjoys both video and board games.
